Billy's is the most consistent and enjoyable place in Roanoke. The menu is just small enough to allow for the staff to perfect their entrees while being diverse enough to appeal to everyone. The service is where Billy's shines. They're truly superb at making the evening stand out as an enjoyable experience. I hope that never changes. The only negative is the crowd that forms across the street. This is out of Billy's control, and should be something that city...
I had dined here once before and we were in an area that was quiet. So brought my sister and her husband here. We did have an early dinner time, 5:30. But we were placed in a bar area. It was not private, intimate dining I expected. We are older and very difficult to hear or have a conversation . I asked the hostess, if there was another area and there was not. Luckily, the food was great! Waiter service was OK.
On a busy weekend we were seated immediately with our reservation. Server was excellent and informed us of some delay possibly because of private parties etc this graduation weekend. All went very well and food delicious. Usually our family go to because they take reservations and honor them.
