I'm from out of town, decided to stop by this little place it was the worst mistake I've made. the service was HORRIBLE. Bartender on her phone the whole time super unprofessional. will not be back. I had read reviews before coming in about the food and service I wish I had listened.

the food is nasty. I've ate here a couple of times to give it a try but it makes me so sick every time I eat there. I've heard 'rumors' & by rumors I mean pictures from former employees of kitchen being nasty & not clean. 100% nasty nasty nasty. save yourself a trip. would give 0 stars if I could. if you can't run a clean restaurant you shouldn't have one.

Arrived just before 3 on Monday afternoon, 9/29/25. Only 5-6 people at the bar. Waite about 3-4 min to be seen & seated. Server took our drink order, brought it and was not seen again. After 25 min I get up to see if she's tied up working the bar ... she's sitting at the end of the bar on her phone. Bartender looks at me in the doorway between bar area & dining area where we were (no one seated in our area). He didn't tell the server I was standing there. At one point he hands her a mop & she gets up from her bar stool, puts the mop in the mop bucket & goes into the kitchen. We left ... not going back & not recommending to anyone. 1 star on service because we were served drinks fairly quickly.

4 Burgers and all were dry and overcooked. I had a Cuban sandwhich. It was good. Fries were good and fried pickles were very tasty. Waitress was not that busy with tables but was also not very attentive.

Had a fantastic experience at Cast Plates & Pints in Roanoke! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared—and the vibe was warm and inviting.
What really made our night was the service from Liberty, our server. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made sure everything came out just right—even when the place got busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests.
Highly recommend for a relaxed night out with great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back—thanks, Liberty!

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed the Phillycheesesteak. The portion sizes were just right, and everything came out in good time. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

I come here quite often because I just can’t get enough! I love the atmosphere, food, and people. I have been here for normal week days but also holidays. I always feel welcomed and taken care of! I’ll never get tired of the menu, but I never seem to mind the changes. Great bar! Def my Dad and I’s first choice every time!
