First time here, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fast and friendly service. Will be back anytime I am in the area.

First visit. The wait was pretty long. Philly cheese steak was very tasty, but it was hard to find the meat with all the bun. Disappointing and overpriced. The Brussel sprouts were tasty, but deep fried and sitting in a POOL of grease on my wife's plate. Dude forgot to drain them apparently. Not how we like to get green food in our diet. The pork was dry and the chips were sorta stale and lacked salt and taste.Best thing on the plate was the slaw. Our waitress was nice and gave us a 10% discount, but we won't go back.UPDATE 10/11: I emailed the managers as requested to discuss further, and nobody got back to me. Shocker.

Made two visits. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was very good . Combination of entrees and sandwiches. Sandwiches very good and brisket entrees less good . Brisket was tough and had too much fat. Breakfast ordered a Belgian waffle with side of bacon and a Clutch. The bacon side was delivered a few minutes before the waffle. The waffle was delivered five minutes before the clutch egg and cheese sandwich. The waffle wasn’t hot. (Pats of butter didn’t melt). The clutch was not great. We may return for dinner at some point. Not for breakfast. Staffing may be an issue. Saw a cook and a server. Dining room is very nice with tables and booths. Also outdoor dining. I hope they’re successful but some improvements necessary.

Heading downtown to have breakfast on the market I made a wrong turn and ended up in front of this restaurant. We decided it was fate and went in and ordered their eggs Benedict, one came with brisket one came with pulled pork. It was awesome. The service was quick friendly and very attentive and the food was delicious I would definitely return

Simply Impressed! My group and I enjoyed a warm spring evening at Clutch and were thoroughly delighted. It’s located in a relatively dense Roanoke location so parking is a little bit of a challenge but we managed to get a street spot right out front.Interestingly enough, my architecture professor designed the whole renovation! The historical building is situated on a calm road. The interior is rich with contextual character and is pleasant to be in. Seemingly unnoticeable details are present throughout the dining area. The staff was great. Most importantly, the food was delicious! All the way around, our whole party was pleased. We all dined in for dinner and I was able to get a plate of smoked pork with a bun which wasn’t listed on the menu. It was very tasty. If you’re looking for somewhere cool to eat in Roanoke, you’ve found the place!

I had the Filet Mignon and it was a perfect medium rare. We will back. ?

Good food. Nice staff. A bit pricey for what you got, but overall not bad at all.

Delicious fresh Chicken Caesar Salad. A big portion of Grilled Chicken. Convenient parking. Friendly staff.

Love this place! Clutch is by far my son’s favorite cheesesteak ever! He could tell they are using fresh, local meat, said he can taste the difference, how’s that for a teen’s approval. My pulled pork was also the best I’ve ever had! I love all the windows, the unique blue tile decor, and the warm welcome. We will definitely be back…plus the breakfast menu is calling!

Honestly everything was very expensive for the quality we received. Ordered the Chilean Seabass, Smoked Ribs and the Brisket. Seabass was just eh, okay. Grits were too cheesy, could've used more seasoning. Ribs were fine, nothing spectacular. Brisket was actually quite delicious. The outside layer was crispy, the wood they use to smoke adds a wonderful flavor. Cherry, I believe? Mashed potatoes were very dry and plain, needed heavy cream or milk and seasoning. The bread is made daily, in house, and was AMAZING. Arguably the best part of the meal. Decent drinks. Wish they had more comfortable seating, but it's worth a shot. We had Daniel as our server and he was great. I hate to say, but I could have gone to dinner at Alexander's or Table 50 and enjoyed a much better atmosphere and food for the price. It was okay, I'll probably try their breakfast in the future.

Food is phenomenal! First bite of the brussel sprouts will blow your taste buds away! Deviled eggs are very flavorful, baked beans are different but tasty and the “freebird” chicken sandwich is by far the best chicken I’ve tasted in a long time.Staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door.I will definitely be back to try the mimosas and other menu items.

Loved this place. We probably sat at a table reserved for someone else, so the waiter/host seated us at the high table. When a booth opened up, he immediately offered it to us. We very much appreciated the gesture. We both had the salad with barbecued pork, and I had a side of baked beans. The food was delicious. We can't wait to try breakfast when we visit again.

First let me say the Brussel Sprouts were OUT OF THIS WORLD! They were the best I've had here in the Roanoke Valley! I would literally go back for them and be happy. The pork was great too, my husband loved it and the pulled pork sandwich was huge! The side of homemade chips were also really good and probably the best homemade chips that I've had. I had the scrambled eggs skillet with pulled pork and it was good but a little too much oil was used but overall it was yummy. The service wasn't the best due to asking for straws and lemons and only the lemons came, asking for water refills that never came, and the order of Brussel Sprouts was never put in but when the lady who I think was the manager brought our food to our table so we aked about the Brussel Sprouts and she got them to us very quickly. We went at lunch time but did notice the kitchen closes at 230 and they only serve drinks and appetizers during that time so we saw 2 sets of guests leave when they were told that. The overall restuarant look was super cute, modern, and industrial. Everything was clean including the restrooms. I would definitely return.

We were in Roanoke for the weekend, and Clutch was a quick walk from our hotel, and the menu looked good. I ordered the Star City Benedict with pork, and it was very tasty. Hollandaise was good, the poached eggs were done very well, and the pork was tasty. My wife got the Breakfast Club, and I got to taste it. The ciabatta bread was perfect. Too often ciabatta can be tough, or crunchy and tear up the mouth. This was pillowy soft with a chew. The romaine provided a good crisp, and the aoili went well with it. We ended up going back the next day and we both got the club, as did my mother in law. All clubs were gone by the time we left. My father in law got the breakfast skillet with brisket. He let me try it, and it made me wish I had gotten the benedict with brisket. The brisket was very tender and juicy, and would be great in an omlett, skillet, or whatever. Food was on point. Also on point....Amanda was our server both days. She was attentive, friendly, and managed everything in front of house on her own, and never missed a beat. We enjoyed both breakfasts, and when back in Roanoke will visit again. Much recommended.Photo is of Star City Benwdict with pork.

The breakfast burger was on of the best things I have ever tasted. Highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t regret it.
