First time here, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fast and friendly service. Will be back anytime I am in the area.

First visit. The wait was pretty long. Philly cheese steak was very tasty, but it was hard to find the meat with all the bun. Disappointing and overpriced. The Brussel sprouts were tasty, but deep fried and sitting in a POOL of grease on my wife's plate. Dude forgot to drain them apparently. Not how we like to get green food in our diet. The pork was dry and the chips were sorta stale and lacked salt and taste.Best thing on the plate was the slaw. Our waitress was nice and gave us a 10% discount, but we won't go back.UPDATE 10/11: I emailed the managers as requested to discuss further, and nobody got back to me. Shocker.

Made two visits. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was very good . Combination of entrees and sandwiches. Sandwiches very good and brisket entrees less good . Brisket was tough and had too much fat. Breakfast ordered a Belgian waffle with side of bacon and a Clutch. The bacon side was delivered a few minutes before the waffle. The waffle was delivered five minutes before the clutch egg and cheese sandwich. The waffle wasn’t hot. (Pats of butter didn’t melt). The clutch was not great. We may return for dinner at some point. Not for breakfast. Staffing may be an issue. Saw a cook and a server. Dining room is very nice with tables and booths. Also outdoor dining. I hope they’re successful but some improvements necessary.

We were incredibly disappointed! Food tent at a venue. Very immature wait staff. The person who was serving actually stuck at her tongue at a customer. The cuban press was not worth the long wait. Only a tablespoon of bbq on the bread which was delicious. Based on this experience will not try again.

Heading downtown to have breakfast on the market I made a wrong turn and ended up in front of this restaurant. We decided it was fate and went in and ordered their eggs Benedict, one came with brisket one came with pulled pork. It was awesome. The service was quick friendly and very attentive and the food was delicious I would definitely return

I appreciate this place being open early on 6/1 when so many other businesses are closed. The home made chips and cheese dip were DELICIOUS. The skillet was a miss, for me. Missing flavor. The BLT was pretty good. I'd go back and probably order an omelet but skillet is overhyped.

Got the Brisket Sandwhich with Pimento Cheese and can easily say it competes with fully dedicated BBQ joints. Brussel sprouts were also a great addition as a side and very crispy. jalapeño cheddar bun complimented the flavor of the barbecue sauce and the pimento cheese. The barbecue sauce was good enough to sell in its own bottle

Simply Impressed! My group and I enjoyed a warm spring evening at Clutch and were thoroughly delighted. It’s located in a relatively dense Roanoke location so parking is a little bit of a challenge but we managed to get a street spot right out front.Interestingly enough, my architecture professor designed the whole renovation! The historical building is situated on a calm road. The interior is rich with contextual character and is pleasant to be in. Seemingly unnoticeable details are present throughout the dining area. The staff was great. Most importantly, the food was delicious! All the way around, our whole party was pleased. We all dined in for dinner and I was able to get a plate of smoked pork with a bun which wasn’t listed on the menu. It was very tasty. If you’re looking for somewhere cool to eat in Roanoke, you’ve found the place!

I had the Filet Mignon and it was a perfect medium rare. We will back. ?

Where's the smoke? Clean, welcoming vibe when you arrive. Very modern. Very hipster. The woman who appears to run the place is straight out of Boot Camp. Very stressed, a bit short with words, not much bedside manner. She's likely a nice person, the only way you will know for sure is if you get past her brusque style and actually decide to stay. The presentation is as expected. Metal tray, paper liner, plenty of chips, and a great looking sandwich. Great looking, not great tasting. Hard to get any smoke flavor at all. The pulled pork sandwich was pulled pork, deep-fried. Super crispy with an interesting mouth feel. Tasted like deep fried pork, not smoked pork. Big fan of the slaw. Top notch. Update. The business contacted me with regards to my hospitality comment above. I understand it's a tough time to be in the restaurant business, and there is plenty of stress to go around. Updated my reading to reflect. All the best.

Arrived and it was busy. We did not have reservations, so probably good to make reservations. We waited about 30 minutes but the staff was very attentive and attempted to update us frequently. We ordered the pimento cheese dip for appetizer. The chips are home made and very good. Then for lunch we ordered the Roanoke Cheese steak, brisket and pimento sandwich and the freebird sandwich. The freebird sandwich was huge and very filling. The cheesesteak was a smaller sandwich but very tasty and filling. Servers were very friendly. Restaurant was very clean. Worth the wait! Delicious brunch and great service! My daughter had the Belgian waffle and my husband had the clutch.

Good food. Nice staff. A bit pricey for what you got, but overall not bad at all.

Went here for brunch! Bottle of champagne and pineapple juice for 20 bucks, can't beat that. We both got the brisket breakfast skillet which was great! They give lots of peppers and onions so if you don't like, wouldn't recommend. Service was amazing despite being so busy!
