Always friendly. Free music by the Guard on Wednesdays starts around 6pm for those that don't stay out late. Cabin atmosphere. Happy hour is great. Love the burgers, steak subs, BBQ, etc.
The food, when it came, was eventually good. But NOTE that was after waiting for it over 2 ¼ hours during which we were told repeatedly and by more than one server that “it was coming”. Only to find out, OOPS, we never actually put your order in (smh). We came in for a terrific show, and knowing it would get a lil crazy, *came to eat early* sigh…
But ok, the main reason we came for was the fantastic show!

Absolutely beautiful unique historic roadhouse building. Friendly staff, cheap beer, and very good barbecue. I hear the owner is selling, I’m praying the new owners don’t change a thing because this place is very special.
