Very dishonest place. Last time I came through, in was upcharged for a water bottle. After I paid they informed me that they didn't have water bottles available. Today I went through, giving them a second chance, and they give me a warm water bottle. So now I get to eat my food with no drink and I can enjoy this water in 8 hours after it has cooled and I get off work! You just lost a customer over water!

This used to be an affordable place to eat. Now its nearly $10 after taxes for a cookout tray. My big double patties were the size of sausage patties. 1 patty covers half the bun. Very small portions. After many years of being 1 of my favorites I will never return. I can get a half lb burger and fries for $10 from cheddars and many other finer places with way bigger portions. I no longer find value eating here. I hope corporate reads this!

Recently, my husband and I wound up staying in a hotel near Roanoke. I remembered getting milkshakes with my son near there when we were driving cross country. I told my husband that those were the best milkshakes I had ever had. We decided to find the Cook Out restaurant and went through their drive thru. The milkshakes did not disappoint!

Lousy milkshake. Just base ice cream and flavoring. Tasteless. Service sucked, the girl at the register was so disinterested, I thought I was going to have to put the order in myself.

Never visited a Cook Out before, not likely to again.

The food was so cheap, hot, fresh, and we barely waited for the food to come out!

I understand that it's busy. Staff can be short and impolite. They usually get my sauces incorrect if any. I go infrequently but when I do no smiles. No thank you. No you're welcome. Nothing.
