While visiting the area, we googled a local spot to grab a donut and stumbled across Duck Donuts—and WOW, are we glad we did! 🍩✨
This place is a total gem. The donuts are made fresh to order right in front of you, and the entire experience was just as sweet as the treats themselves. The staff member who helped us was absolutely fabulous—friendly, patient, and explained everything perfectly.
The donuts? Out-of-this-world delicious. Soft, warm, melt-in-your-mouth perfection with fun and creative toppings. Truly some of the BEST donuts we’ve ever had!😄
Our only regret? We devoured them so fast we forgot to take a picture! If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop at Duck Donuts. You won’t be disappointed!

We placed an order for 1/2 dozen doughnuts and proceeded to wait 20 plus minutes for our order. The gentleman working the counter decided to do his closing procedure before completing our order and the few other customers that came in after us. The wait for no reason sucked, but the doughnuts were good and we now know how to close down the shop for the evening....lol.

Worse short lady she should find a another job if she don’t like it here first she put note on door ill be back in 10 min then i was the first person in line then i wait 20 min inside the store she keep making donuts for people behind me then i ask her Im visible to you standing right here front you for last 30min Then she start Clapping 👏 front of my face nd said get out of the store So that’s how you duck donuts employees treat you avoid this place

Went there for the first time yesterday, had an unbelievable great time! Was in and out in less than 10 minutes for a whole dozen of fresh made donuts and coffee, and YES, their donuts are absolutely worth the drive if you aren’t from the area. If you’re looking for the best donuts around, dollars to donuts- this is the place to go to. Their staff was beyond helpful and a blast to interact with, super relatable and just the most friendly of interactions. If i could rate this place more than 10 stars i would, so with that being said it’s a 15/10 ! Thank yall for the great first visit, I’ll be a customer for as long as you guys are operating here in Roanoke!

Nicest staff and nice-looking establishment, but the doughnuts were awful. Upon picking up my doughnuts, they couldn't hold their shapes, instead folding and flopping into themselves so badly that the icing squirted right out the center, and then they cracked and fell apart. I'm not sure if they were undercooked, if they were just extra oily, or what was happening. Unfortunately, they don't have a great doughnut texture, more like a fried biscuit dough texture. A great doughnut is chewy yet fluffy, and these were neither. I went in with great expectations due to other positive reviews for this establishment, but left unable to eat hardly any of my two choices. My husband also tried to be optimistic, but we are taking our leftovers home to see if the kids want them instead of throwing them straight away. Big disappointment for a rare breakfast date.
