Stopped here on a Monday evening to grab a few drinks with some co-workers and had a really fun time. They were playing music bingo which I have never played before but it was a blast. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy some classic hits from the 80s & 90s while enjoying a cold drink on a nice spring day. Next time I’m in town I would check this place out again. The only small issue was that we had to go back inside to get more drinks as they only had one person working there at the time.
We went with our family and friends from out of town. We brought food for our kids since they were picky eaters. The waitress who claimed to also be the manager said it was illegal to bring any food in. She was rude and started to call out everything including a kids drink and pack of crackers. She was extremely rude and could have handled it very differently.
Wonderful experience! Delicious food and great service.
It's more of a local dive bar than a restaurant. I don't recommend bringing children or family here except for lunch. It's definitely a heavy drinking and often times loud bunch. We try to get there early to avoid the crowd. Most of the clientele seem to be regulars or friends of the bartender and sometimes it can difficult to get attention at the bar. Once we were not acknowledged and ended up leaving. The service at the bar is hit or miss. That being said we have had excellent service here too. The last time we went, we sat outside and Jazmyn waited on us. She was very polite and attentive. Daily deals and cheap PBR. 👍👍 3 nice hot dogs, 2 large sides of fries and 4 pints for $30, can't beat it. The DC dog is our favorite.
Worst bar in Roanoke don't go!
Awesome vibe here. I was happy to run into familiar faces and new faces. Great style. Fun KJ on karaoke night. Great drinks and good still. A landmark that reflects good memories
Great karaoke!
Ive heard amazing things abt this place for its food. They did not disappoint. The bartender was amazing and she was very personable. Definitely a typical hole in the wall bar atmosphere but the burger is ate was worth it. Wasn't a pre-made patty
This is a great place to eat. The service is always fantastic, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying one of their pizzas or their blackened chicken sandwich.
Best place for a beer and to chill. Food is always great.

Great food, laid back atmosphere, and wonderful experience. Beer cheese pretzels were solid. Quesadilla awesome. Loved it.
You have one bartender in particular and you know who she is, who repeatedly antagonizes guests on and off the clock. It detracts from the amount of money you can make and the overall experience. Put 2 and 2 together! Awesome establishment otherwise.
If you like smoke annoying smells of people vaping well you try to eat. Then this might be your place. And it's not just the customer's it was the workers standing around talking to them as well. It has it has it outdoor area they could go vape and smoke. But they prefer to do indoors.

Pretty average. I got a pizza which was good but nothing special. Sat outside but a lot of people were smoking/vaping and since it’s in downtown there were a lot of cars driving around. The service was good and the staff were nice. Probably wouldn’t visit again, not a bad experience just an overall mid one.

Had a late lunch following a play at Mill Mountain Theatre. Fork in the Market is much like its counterpart " in the Alley". The bar is active any hours it's open, the atmosphere is fun and stimulating, especially if eating outside, the service on this visit was great, and the food was adequate. Had the Philly Steak Sandwich, which was tasty but average, but the coated fries were outstanding! My dining partner had vegetarian cheese pizza, which was reported as delicious and very filling. The location on the market provides instant ambiance and visual activity, especially if dining outside. We noted two wedding parties and two birthday events strolling by.
Vegetarian options: A vegetarian pizza was ordered and deemed delicious, with various cheeses, a tomato sauce base with a good crust. Some other veggies dishes are available, and some dishes could be made with no meat products on request. Talk with your server.
Parking: Parking availability all depends on the time of day, it could be difficult to find parking at peak times, but lots of free and paid parking options are available.
Kid-friendliness: This restaurant welcomes diners of all ages, but keep in mind it is a bar, if young children are present.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible if entering from outside. Some outside tables are well spaced to allow for access, but the chairs are heavy. A wheelchair user would more than likely need assistance in moving the heavy metal chair. Restrooms are inside and are part of the market building, not the restaurant. I do not know about the accessibility there.
