What a fantastic place! Plenty of items on their menu.. If you haven’t been there before, try their French Toast! The bakery case is full of so much homemade goodness. It’s hard to choose! The owner is a friendly man who knows all of his regular customers. It’s an all around happy place to eat.
Very delicious and very kind lady. I fully recommend it.
Vegetarian options: They should come and try. Delicious

Their croissants are amazing! The old couple are handling all the customers by themselves. Sad to hear that the restaurant will be closed early next year for good.

Horrible omelett ever, left the restaurant with half eaten omlett since I didn't want to complain at the register since I was very emotional having just left funeral home finalizing arrangements for my mother's passing. The owner said I had to complain while I was there, he then hung up on me. I tried to call back to explain the situation and he hung up on me again!!!!!! Don't go there, Horrible Horrible customer service

They should close now if there not gonna try to serve decent food. Omelet was burnt on the outside and had crunchy bits like shells. Hash browns were undercooked. Over easy eggs tasted funny. Everything was under seasoned. Thr bacon and pancakes were good.

My wife and I stopped here on a whim on a return trip from Virginia Tech. I didn't initially think much of the announcement on the door that they'd be closing their doors in January 2025.
Even during the first few minutes inside we realized this restaurant was clearly a labor of love, a family run establishment that is sadly going away. Smiling service from intuitive, experienced restaurateurs would be enough but the food was great, too. Our daughter is going to be Hokie for four years. I'm sad we won't have this as a stop during that period. Congratulations on your retirement, folks! You deserve it.

I love the food as much as I love the beautiful senior couple serving there.
The best bacon I have tasted ever eggs are perfectly made too. We have tried 12 different items over the time and was never disappointed with anything

Good diner-esque food. Always quick service.
So sad they are selling but the owner definitely deserves his retirement.

Best breakfast we've had a long time! Took us both back to childhood. Even gave my kiddo a chocolate chip cookie (which was so good too!)
