The food and service have gone thoroughly downhill in the last few months. If you like mayonnaise instead of toppings, then you will enjoy it. Twice now, I have ordered a sub without mayonnaise, and both times, they were drenched with mayonnaise. The portobello mushroom isn't even supposed to have mayonnaise. The first time, they seemed to give us half big kahuna and half portobello, and this time, both subs were definitely big kahunas (although with fewer toppings than normal). So not only can they not follow simple instructions, but they get the orders completely wrong. My father likes mayonnaise, but even he said that his sub had so much mayonnaise on it that it was all that he could taste. I called them to let them know that they messed up the order, again, and they hung up on me twice as soon as I said that there was a problem with my order. When I finally actually got to speak to someone, they told me that they would "fix" it tomorrow. I live 25 miles away, and I was only there to have dinner with my elderly father. Start using fresh lettuce and stop serving brown lettuce that you shredded a day or 2 beforehand. Every Jersey Mikes in Roanoke serves brown lettuce. When asked they refuse to get fresh lettuce. Lettuce should be prepped same day. Calling corporate.

Food is great, love Jersey Mike's subs and get it every week. For some reason this location has went downhill...went to pick up an online order at the time I was told it would be ready - there was 1 single customer in the entire place yet my order had not even been started. So I stood there and watched them make the order. I asked for no tomatoes, however, the girl decided that while placing toppings on my sub that she needed to pause and proceed to dig both hands into the tomatoes and play with them for a bit before proceeding to finish my sub. Weirdest, oddest, most spiteful thing I've ever witnessed in food service.On top of that they keep the same gloves on their hands that they use a dirty rag to constantly wipe with and handle money with to make your sub with too. Disgusting.
