Second visit for me first for my wife on our anniversary. Lisa was wonderful. Fries were great. Wife enjoyed the Peach rug. I was looking forward to the chicken as my first visit was excellent. This time was way overdone, charred in spots and quite dry, even for white meat. She enjoyed her salad and had leftover for lunch today. I'll try again but maybe pick something else and stay with Popeyes chicken.
Dinner last night at Lucky was fantastic! The shrimp and grits was to die for. My husband had the West African peanut stew and thought that it was delicious. Even the Caesar salad was great... Emily our wait person was attentive, receptive and delightful...
Lucky has been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time. We love the vibe, the staff, the decor and the French-bistro style. With all that, the newish menu is a giant leap forward - it has the old favorite fried chicken and the steak, but some new entrees such as chicken and waffles that were absolutely delicious.
