Excellent food and service. We've been twice, and have had an enjoyable experience both times. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Decor isn't gaudy or overdone. As far as the food goes, it's fresh and artfully presented. Very different than the usual fare found in a Mexican restaurant. As it's name says, it's primarily seafood, and servings are just right for an average appetite. Expect to pay about $20-$35 per meal. There are shareable platters, too. Those who ordered alcohol were happy with their margaritas, especially the margarita flight, featuring different flavors of drinks. We really like this restaurant and we plan to eat here often. Went in for the first time yesterday with my friend and we had a great time. The ambiance was great, we got to hear the live band playing and see the customers dancing. The night was really busy but Antonio’s service never faltered! He was extremely helpful and patience with us. He recommended the ribeye special and it was absolutely delicious! My friend got the enchiladas which were also really tasty. Being from out of state has set my standards pretty high on Mexican food and it has been hard to find Mexican food in Roanoke that is actually worth it. So looks like Mariscos Nayarit will now be my go-to!

It’s been a while since I had good mariscos, I’m visiting Roanoke from Toronto Canada and oh my!! Oh my!! Best place in town to get seafood Mexican style!!! No cap at all!!! Food is 10 out of 10 and the drinks!! You gotta try it yourself and won’t regret it!!

The food was amazing! The menu items looked really creative and delicious, and definitely not your normal fare... Especially the seafood dishes. We came there for a quick lunch and ordered from the text mex options, and the portion sizes were HUGE compared to what you normally get elsewhere. The food was great, but you really get a whole entire experience going there. It is a very colorful place and very lively. Go there on your birthday and you might get a nice little surprise 🥳😉 Everything was excellent, this place is a cut above the rest. I will be going back with a lot more money to spend 🙏
