Always great food. When we get take-out it is always packaged well, with all needed sauces and utensils. Plenty of chips and salsa too! Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Roanoke.
I've been searching for a replacement Mexican restaurant that serves good carnitas since other places' meat quality has declined. This is it. Perfect carnitas for a comparable price.
The restaurant has a fun vibe with the colorful furnishings and Latino music (which fortunately is not too intrusive).....the service is quick and efficient. The food (I had beef enchiladas with cheese sauce, rice and beans) seems no different from the standard fare at other Mexican restaurants. The exception was the flan, which was outstanding - the best I've found in Roanoke, solid yet creamy and delicately spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. It did NOT need the dousing...
