My group and I had the best time celebrating my birthday at Rockfish last night. They have the most delicious fried calamari in the city, hands down. It’s not heavily fried like others that make you feel gross and you can really taste the fresh calamari under the breading. Went with another couple. Food was good, not great. The fried oyster appetizer was too heavily breaded and not much meat. My husband got some kind of fish with a salmon pate rolled in it, but there was very little of this spread. I ordered the duck leg confit. This is usually well done, but I asked how it was cooked and the waitress said rare. I went with it, but it was well done, I should've known better, but the waitress should've known the menu. better.
