My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at a new to us restaurant. We were not.disappointed. We arrived at 6:00pm and was told there was a 30-35 minute wait, but we were seated in 25 minutes or so: The restaurant was very busy, but we never had to wait for our server. We ordered the garlic bread appetizer, with my wife getting the chicken carbonara and I opted for the chicken Francis. Our meal was brought to us in a perfect dinner cycle, meaning salad after finishing the appetizer, and entree after salads were finished. The food was just as impressive as the service, great flavors, tender chicken, the house Italian salad dressing was amazing. We also had garlic knots with our entrees and they too were amazing. We topped the dinner off with a couple of cannolis to go that are maybe the best I’ve ever had. Compliments to the entire staff, can’t wait to come back and try the Stromboli.

Such great atmosphere, the music was perfectly relaxing, the nice waitress lit my candle for me. The chianti was fantastic! Unfortunately the crab ravioli I ordered took away from the experience. The sauce was pretty good, not great. But the pasta itself fell short. Definitely not homemade pasta. 100 % frozen. Not much flavor in the filling or the ravioli and the shrimp served with it was overcooked to the point of toughness. For a $65 meal (including wine and dessert) the pasta that they claim is authentic Italian needs to be better. That being said the overall experience was pleasant and I will try again. Maybe just order something different next time. Oh, and the garlic rolls were amazing!!

Overall, pretty disappointing. We’ve been here several times and it’s hit or miss, but mostly miss. First off they wanted to seat us in the worst table which is right next to the kitchen door even though the other side of the restaurant was completely empty. Our request for a better table was accommodated, but not without a scowl from the blond manager woman. On a previous visit I had an antipasto salad and asked for a side of Fettuccini Alfredo. The poor waitress wasn’t sure about that so she asked the blond manager woman. Our waitress returned and reported that “Yes, we can do it just this once, but don’t ask for it again”. Good grief . . . On this visit we ordered the Chicken Piccata and Zuppa Del Pescatore. Our salads were quite diminutive, tiny actually, and a bit lost in the large bowl. The blue cheese dressing on the side was very thin, like it has been watered down and had no blue cheese chunks at all. Best described as a puddle of cheese-flavored milk. Our meals arrived in a timely fashion. My wife’s chicken breast was pounded down to the thickness of a quarter. The sauce did have a nice flavor, but it was very thin. I opted for the white wine sauce offered in lieu of the marinara sauce. It too was very thin. Both of our sauces needed reduction to have any hope of adhering to the pasta. Both were more like a watery soup. We needed to add Parmesan to give them a little body. The plates are too big and flat for the meals. The dishes would have been more successful if they were served in pasta bowls instead of shallow platters. The sauces spread out and cool quickly so you wind up tilting your plate to have your pasta in the sauce in a race to eat it hot. You end up losing that race. The flavors where okay, but fell short. I know they can do better, they have before. But my sense is that the kitchen is cutting costs are might just simply be bored.

We drove a long way to experience the hot bar buffet. We arrived before 2 but were denied that offer. Told it was too close to 2. We were 2 of a total of 8 people in the entire place. Not worth the trip.

I really wanted to give a great review. They are good but not great. I did not enjoy my meal. I'm a full Italian woman that knows how to cook. I definitely tasted that much of this was frozen. That's not so yummy. Nonetheless I'll go back. I did go for the brunch for the $11.99 special. They give you a full menu and ask you what your choices are. It isn't a buffet like I thought it was going to be. My friends all felt the same too. Here are a couple of snapshots of our food.If you enjoyed my review and You found it helpful - Please give me a thumbs up and feel free to follow along. ?Vegetarian options: They definitely have a marinara sauce so anything can be added to much of the pasta dishes. Even one of the dishes that should have had a chicken broth in it, they did not use that they use whatever they do but not a meat broth. So I found that interesting as well. I predominantly eat vegetarian. I have a lot of dietary restrictions.

Rather expensive for how small the portions were and how long the service took, even accounting for being part of a larger party. What little I got was good, though.
