First time there… visiting and just googled Italian restaurants near me and this one came up. Did not even look at the reviews and thought we would give it a try. Though realistically not expecting much as we thoroughly enjoy Sals by Victor in Williamsburg …we voted amongst ourselves we believe this has it beat. One - lasagna was not your typical boring lasagna as it had lots of cheese and just the right amount of smooth tasty sauce. Two - the meat lovers pizza and cheese...
Great food, service and relaxed atmosphere. Family run. Love that Michael, one son, is creative when making creme brulee, he comes up with different flavors. Mom is usually at the front.
