During the concert at Dr Pepper Park, it just happened that the weather turned to shit. Everyone crammed into this bar and the bartenders were absolutely amazing, accommodating and welcoming, despite the slot of people trying to get their beverages. She needs that for the next, just to move it out of the wall. In all of this, the bartender/brewist Donovan stepped up, managed the crowd and got everyone served in a timely manner. When we stopped in earlier, she was very accommodating...
Starr Hill is one of our favorite places to visit in Roanoke! Shannon, Donovan and George are just not our “servers”, they’re like family. Always a fun time with great refreshing beer!
Starr Hill is my favorite spot to hang out and enjoy a beer, and now they have food too! Shannon and her team are fantastic: the perfect mix of fun, welcoming, and helpful. There’s always something happening at Starr Hill, from trivia and dance parties to community events and drag bingo. It’s a great place to relax, have fun, and connect with others.
