Delicious
Sloppy burrito bad customer service
The server had no idea what was going on. I asked him for no zucchini and he looked at me and said “what is zucchini”. I would recommend not coming here plenty of good Mexican spots with better service around. They also don’t offer any water unless you buy it. I would stay away from here if I were you.

My favorite choice for tacos in Roanoke. Their hot red salsa is the best!

There were pros and cons at Tacos Rojas. The pros were that the food was really good and they had amazing portions sizes. I’d recommend the Paco Burrito with birra if you are really hungry. Some of the cons were the location…. It seemed to be outdoor seating only as there was no real way to enter the building. Every door was locked and it wasn’t until the waiter came and said to sit wherever you like that we realized we had the right place. Also not sure if our waiter had an off day or due to the language barrier or he was new to serving or all of the above, he just could not get our request right. This does not take away from the amazing food but also don’t expect to alter or customize your entree much. All in all it was a pretty good place to grab a meal. Food was good and the drinks were cold, it just wouldn’t be my first choice.

Please update taco salad ingredients on door dash and add that it comes with beans I was disappointed because I don't eat beans yet it doesn't mention that beans come in a taco salad

Real deal Tacos Birria! With a cup of consommé a red and a green sauce, each taco loaded and doubled up atop a spare tortilla. I’ll be back to photo the proper dish not just the empty “it was that good all gone version” EDIT TO ADD: Birria is not a vegetarian dish, but there are many vegetarian choices here, and vegan friendly choices as well if you stick to vegetables, tortillas and red/green sauces (that are divine!) and leave cheese off of the items that include it. Note for vegans: dishes are cooked in skillets so there’s no risk of contamination of products from the same grill.
Ps: 2 tacos as shown was less than $12 all included
This isn’t a sit down restaurant with service. It is a belly-up-to-the-counter sitch, order and they bring it out to you with a smile. It’s all about the food and they won a “Best of Roanoke” award in 2025. It shows in the food, people.

I ordered enchiladas, rice, and beans, but received only the enchiladas. When I asked for the rest of my order, the kitchen staff told me, “the sign is wrong, rice and beans don’t come with enchiladas anymore.” Payment and tips are taken upfront, and there doesn’t appear to be a manager around to solve problems like this.

If you like authentic tacos, this is NOT the place. Lengua= patè cat food consistency. $36 for 6 tacos after a 25 minute wait with no where to wait….
