Cakes are always delicious!! But the food can be kind of hit or miss. I would avoid anything that might seem like southern cooking or soul food, Mac and cheese as well as the red beans and rice were less than palatable, definitely a unique take on the classics. The sandwiches however are always very tasty! I’m curious to try some of the soups and salads.

Well, I don’t agree with their political opinions and don’t like how they have a “ICE is not welcome here! We know our rights!” Sign in the front window to shove their beliefs down everyone’s throats. But good food. And cake.

We haven't lived here for long but we kept hearing about Evie's.
We finally decided to go there early for dinner and we're so glad we did!! The wait staff was exceptional; our server didn't rush us and gave us good recommendations based on our likes.
