“My husband and I just had a fantastic experience here. A hidden gem we did not know about! We asked if they have pastries and they do! They get them from a bakery in downtown Lynchburg and they were awesome. I got a cinnamon bun roll and my husband got a blueberry muffin. Then when they gave us our coffees, they had cute little Christmas stickers that said Dasher and Comet 🦌 🎄 The girls gave great customer service & told us about the upcoming Christmas parade next Sunday!!! it’s a drive-through so it was fast and we highly recommend this place! We will be back 😊“

“I had an unexpectedly fantastic experience at this McDonald's during my business trip. The restaurant was spotless, and I was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member. The restrooms were impeccably clean, setting a positive tone right from the start. When I ordered, the same staff member was incredibly helpful, informing me of the specials and making me feel welcome. The dining area was spotless and decorated beautifully for Valentine's Day, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. I don't know the name of the staff member, but she had glasses and was super friendly. I would highly recommend her for some recognition for being such an amazing and great employee. Overall, a truly pleasant visit that exceeded my expectations!“

Our service was great, our Latte and Mocha was great. Out of the few locals we've tried so far this one is currently at the top of our list.“

“We have been long standing customers of Joe beans but our experience today made it so I had to leave a review. Our daughter accidentally spilled the extra large latte we had gotten for mom. After we got it all cleaned up we came back through and shared what happened with our barista and she did not even hesitate to replace our drink and was so apologetic. “First time here today, we had over an hour drive left, and at a stop light was the cutest little coffee stand. Vast array of options, coffee, smoothies, refreshers and food. Hannah took our orders with a smile and great attitude, answered all our questions we had. I got the iced black coffee with mocha and hazelnut my boyfriend got a chocolate peanut butter protein shake.“

“My husband and I love going to Blue Ridge Bagels for breakfast!! Their donuts are delicious. Their bagels are scrumptious. And their chocolate milk? That's my favorite beverage to get when we eat here. The atmosphere is very small town local, and I absolutely love it! The staff is super friendly! They keep the place clean and tidy! “This was my first time here and I don't usually do the sugar places but I was hanging out with my teenager and we decided to do a special treat.

Because it's my first time I wasn't really sure what to order. There was a guy named Austin who was super patient and was able to help me identify something that I would really enjoy.. he customized my drink and his service was phenomenal. I feel like Austin probably has a strong future in sales. Excellent! Excellent customer service.

My son got the quarter sweet blended matcha strawberry drink. Quarter sweet was perfect for him. I got a classic cola fizz with diet Coke. It also had tropical elements to it - coconut and vanilla.

The drinks were delicious treat. Very sweet however.

“I am new to Lynchburg and did not know this was here. I have passed the building which looks sort of like a circus tent, but while searching breakfast location near me, (after the normal breakfast time), this cafe showed up.
I was surprised to see that the cafe was inside this unusual building.
Big toy and book store that I would like to wander through when I have some time, and to the back is this little seating area, blocked off and a counter with coffee and tea. The menu was not typical breakfast but our sandwich selections were outstanding. The flavor combination of the Turkey, cheese, sprouts, apple, avocado plus natural mustard with the seeds, (could be missing something) such a great sandwich. Good coffee and fruit with a giant oatmeal cookie to go.
I recommend and will come again.“

“I took my daughter for the first time on the way home from school yesterday afternoon. My daughter got the pink mermaid fizz and I got a hot sweet and salty. My daughter loved hers and mine was also good. I would mention that the drinks are very sweet so if you like more of a coffee taste then you may want to get less sweetener in it. Service was also great and fast. Laura helped me with my order and Becka talked to me at the register. Both very kind and helpful young ladies. The girls inside seemed to be having a great time at work which is always nice to see as well. Would come here again.“

“Ok so I rarely write reviews but I really felt compelled to write this. I am a medical student and have been going to Starbucks on Timberlake for the past 2 years to study multiple times a week. The workers at this store are genuinely some of the best workers I’ve ever seen, and I don’t say that lightly. Whether it’s acknowledging you when you walk in or leave the store, asking for a refill or any other request, etc., they always do it with a smile on their face and with genuine care. I’ve seen them work under extremely busy circumstances (usually Sundays haha), yet somehow they still manage to keep their smiles, compliment customers, and work so efficiently in both the drive through and in-store under such stressful moments. There’s a reason they have consistent regulars that come back on pretty much a daily basis, and it has been my favorite place to study in Lynchburg. I honestly could not highlight any one particular worker because they are ALL SO wonderful! I just love how friendly and intentional they are with every person that walks in; both regulars and people they don’t know. Incredible customer service, speed, cleanliness, store hours, etc etc. Seriously couldn’t talk highly enough about this store and their workers!“

“We love The Muse and I am a local for 20 years now from NC. But…yesterday I came in for one of our old favorites the breakfast burrito with egg, bacon, cilantro, black bean hummus, cheese with a side of the best homemade salsa. I had a delicious pure vanilla bean latte but when we got home with our burritos my husband could not even get past one bite. I choked mine down lamenting the OG burrito.🌯 This new burrito was basically a raw onion burrito with a tiny bit of egg, pork sausage, avocado, tomatoes and some cheese. I wanted to like it and I love avocado and always used to add it to the OG one. But uhggg…Y’all please go back I’m begging you. That was tough to get down. 🥲“

Natalie did a great job explaining your selection of coffees and made a really good latte (brown sugar). May I please recommend using a dark roast for lattes? “While you may have to wait a while for your order the staff is very nice. They often have to deal with many, many students at a time yet they handle the stress and load very well. For a busy Starbucks they do quite well. Only issue is they often run out of certain ingredients due to having so many customers in a day.“

“I discovered this location when my daughter was in Virginia Baptist Hospital . Coffee was great but the employees are what makes it a great experience. Yesterday my husband had to be rushed to Lynchburg General and I coulddnt go inside for hours. I drove to this Starbucks , distraught over the loss of our little dog the night before and now the pissibilty my husband wss having a heart attack. Bethany was so kind and welcoming, she made me feel a little better. And of course the coffee was great. Thank you for being there and shout out to Bethany❤“

“I absolutely loved this Starbucks. I just got back from there and am so happy I went. The lady who helped me was SO sweet. I went in with a "Secret Menu" order and felt so bad because I know it puts more work on them, but she was amazing. I felt better than when I came in. She made the drink perfectly; it tastes amazing. “I made a mobile order on the app, and sent it to the other location in Lynchburg. When I got there, I had realized and told Christina in the store. She immediately started to call the manager at the other location and couldn't get him. She tried and tried again and finally got him on the phone, and he agreed to switch the order over. The other manager didn't want to switch the order (because I had ordered a lot of things) but she convinced him.
She was so great! Not only did she use her personal phone and contact to help me out she was so persistent. That's real customer service! The order was for my students who are learning English to better themselves and their careers.

“Anna D knocked it out of the park today! My wife and I came in late afternoon today and the place was packed inside and same for the drive through. Somehow, Anna was able to take care of us quickly and juggle many things at once, well. Her service and hospitality was exemplary! Drinks were also amazingly tasty!

“One of my favorite things to get at McDonald’s is always the fries but unfortunately, this location is very inconsistent in this area. Often the fries are under or over done and don’t have that nice crisp you desire. Otherwise it is your standard McDonald’s fare and service. One pro is that this location still has a PlayPlace which I have had my kids enjoy.“

The manager here, Clayton, gave us 25 free breakfast sandwiches for us to serve to a local police department to show them appreciation, and then he threw in a bunch of free apple pies on top of the sandwiches we asked for! He made the process of coordinating the order seamless. He was very generous and they had the food ready at 6:30 AM right on time for us. Thank you to the manager Clayton!
