The Sslem location is dark and not very inviting. You actually feel like you're going in somewhere you shouldn't. I usually eat at the one in Downtown Roanoke which is wonderful. The price is in line with other restaurants these day. I usually love the potato tacos, but the ones I got last night were not as crispy as usual and were very greasy. Food lacked flavor. Decent amount of food given, price point wasn’t bad for what we got. My son dropped his quesadilla on the floor, the girl at the register asked her boss if they can make it over. Shorty’s Tacos. 4 tacos different meats (or you can do the same ones). I got chicken, steak, shrimp, and al pastor. Service was great and so was the staff. Seating quickly available usually and salsa bar is clean and full.
