Famous Anthony's Salem Reviews
Me , my wife and grandson went in at 6 pm for dinner, at which time the boy at the front told us it would be at least 30 minute waiting period to be seated. You are the best ... I live in Canada, and wanted food sent to my friends, there in Salem. It was a breeze and easy with the Door Dash Chow Now delivery service you use. Menu
Famous Anthony's Salem is a well-known restaurant that offers a diverse menu, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. The breakfast experience is often praised, with the good coleslaw being a highlight. However, some lunch dishes, like the flounder and chopped steak, have been reported as lacking in flavor. The steak fajita salad, on the other hand, is noted for its generous portion and well-cooked steak, although it could benefit from its own sauce. The patty melt was described as lacking in flavor, but the fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders are a hit with kids, along with the BBQ sauce and Honey Mustard.
The service at Famous Anthony's Salem is a standout feature, with excellent service reported on multiple visits. The atmosphere is described as fantastic, and the prices are considered reasonable. The restaurant is kid-friendly, offering crayons and sheets for kids to draw on while they wait, as well as high chairs. However, some visitors have noted that the staff could be friendlier.
Customers have also highlighted the restaurant's homey, old-school vibe, with one describing it as a "good hometown diner." The mozzarella sticks and Swiss mushroom burger are popular lunch options, and the seasonal pumpkin cream cheesecake is a recommended dessert.
