Now don't get me wrong this is a good place for other things than coffee but it is a coffee shop, I've been here many times and not once have they failed to disappoint with their coffee, it is always burnt and the coffee beans were over roasted I can make a better coffee at home with my home espresso bar that would be easier than driving all the way to Salem for a medicore at best cup of coffee, if you want some coffee I would recommend finding somewhere else. The coffee is past dark roast and very very burnt don't go here is you like good coffee.

employees were more interested in chatting with customers than helping those of us in line.

Also asked for sugar free was told they had it and they didn't. What I got was awful will never go nack

We stopped in for coffee and a scone while running errands. What a cute place. Service was great and the scone was delicious.

This was the coffee I didn’t finish.

I stopped here on my way home to Georgia. I love coffee and often visit different cafés to enjoy both the drink and the atmosphere. I chose this place because of the good reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to them.

The coffee beans were low quality — about the same as in the well-known “mermaid” chain. The interior was quite dark, and the cashier didn’t seem happy to see me. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it still left an impression.

I ordered an espresso and a cheese danish. The pastry tasted like something from Walmart. Disappointing. 3 stars.

I stopped by Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea this morning and had their breakfast egg omelet with a freshly brewed coffee—both were spot on. The omelet was fluffy and well-stuffed, just the right start to my day. The coffee was rich, aromatic, and clearly brewed with care from their locally roasted beans.

The vibe was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who seemed genuinely enthusiastic. It’s a laid‑back, comfortable spot—perfect for breakfast or catching up on work. Plus, this place is a local favorite and known for its great baked goods and full breakfast menu .

If you’re in downtown Roanoke and craving a quality breakfast and a top‑notch cup of coffee, this spot should definitely be on your list!

A good place for drinking coffee, does close early on the weekdays.

Stopped in on a road trip and was immediately met with warmth—the cashier and barista were sweet, and even the other customers made a fuss over my dog in the best way.

The iced latte was pleasant but a bit underpowered compared to what I’m used to in bigger cities. Still, the kindness made it worth the stop.

The food was great the customer service was horrible. We went up to ask for more ice water. The girl asked if the food she called out was for us and we said no. So then we asked for water and she just walked away with out saying anything. We were just asking for water!

The smoothest, most delicious coffee in a cute place - totally worth getting off the highway for! I'm having it shipped home from now on, it's that good.
