Having been a customer at this restaurant for more than 20 years , I had high aspirations for it after reopening. Unfortunately some things have changed that could be easily fixed and restore it to its previous glory. They no longer give you soup and salad with your entree , so I opted for salad. The portion was tiny with nothing but white core iceberg lettuce and a couple carrot strips. The ginger dressing was as thin as water with very little taste. We got both Steak and Chicken entrees which were well apportioned but unfortunately the steak was overcooked to the point of being hard to chew. The chicken was excellent, however. The fried rice had very little taste as compared to previous visits and the zucchini was sparse. They have added some small slivers of carrot which didn’t go well with the texture or flavor. Lastly , we had requested 2 extra yum-yum sauces but only received one. I’m unsure if they charged for it because I didn’t get my receipt. Overall I was disappointed but will give them another chance in the future.

Defiantly the best taste of Japanese food in the area. Every item was cooked perfectly. Also a big win was everything we had was half the price of ichidan or kabuki. This is our new favorite Japanese restaurant hands down.

They will take your order incorrectly and tell you the ticket doesn’t state what you asked for. Well, isn’t that obvious? Argue with you and waste your time until you give up. Then offer for you to pay more for what was supposed to be the first time. Ask you to waste your time and gas by driving back for you to pay more and waste more time. There’s other Japanese style restaurants that offer better value and quantity than this place. I go here sometimes because they are close. I won’t again. I can’t get past the raw vegetables since it’s a drive thru but I won’t tolerate horrible service too. I tried to call and settle the issue. It was an absolute awful customer service experience.

The sushi is amazing! The hibachi shrimp had the perfect crunchy outside and were super tender on the inside. Owners are lovely people and you can tell through the energy of the food. Would highly recommend!
