“The food is always good but be careful with what you order vs your expectations. I ordered a SIDE of “hibachi shrimp” and was given a small container of broccoli with about 6 small shrimp in it. When I asked about it they argued with me because “there are shrimp in there”. So I paid $6.25 for what was supposed to be shrimp but was not and is way over priced for what you actually get. Very disappointing.“

“we absolutely love Taste of Asia. we eat there often. any time someone comes into town and doesn't know what they want, we go here. Evelyn is so amazing and really works hard to make the place what it is. She will happily go work in the kitchen or clean tables and that is the kind of owner every business needs. some times are slower than others but the food never disappoints. the Evelyn roll is absolutely amazing and I obsess over the Drunken Noodles.“

“I've lived all over and the only other place I had sushi this good was Hawaii. The quality is exceptional. We always order the boat and the cuts are always melt-in-your-mouth. Whenever I order omakase, I'm never disappointed. Even my 20-something sons recognize the superior quality and they don't have terribly discerning palates. They also love the serene and peaceful atmosphere. Even when multiple tables are seated, it retains a quiet ambience. Ben Gui is a reason to live in Roanoke. It's pure pleasure for the senses on all levels and not something I ever expected to find when returning to my home region, southern Appalachia.“

“Teppan is great. Food is very tasty and portion is good. Food is very affordable. I recommend the spring rolls, that sauce they come with is delicious. Also staff was always chill but now they are getting even nicer so that’s cool. Yum Yum sauce is the real star here but it’s extra for more than the two you already get when you order. (Two is enough for me though but my friends get one extra it’s a couple cents?)“
