Every time I would come to town I had to have Golden Skillet! It appears to be under new management who has the restaurant looking amazing! Very clean in there but man the food quality isn’t the same. The food was very hot and fresh which was a great thing! But the taste of the mac n cheese and baked beans were awful. I would consider revamping the recipe or removing those sides altogether. The macaroni salad was good. I always get the chicken but I may try the fish next time

I was looking forward to my meal, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The food quality seemed different from what I remember from the old Golden Skillet. I found the restaurant's chicken to be less appealing, and I was surprised to learn that there was a charge for an additional roll. Overall, I think there’s room for improvement, and I may consider exploring other dining options in the future.

I’m not sure how the reviews were rated so highly. I had low expectations for the food to begin with. I was raised in Jersey and was expecting the cheap chicken shack after school chicken OR in your 20’s after the club chicken. This didn’t even live up to that AND it wasn’t cheap. The chicken gizzards were not cooked hard/long enough and as far as the chicken itself…Publix, Royal Farms, KFC, Popeyes, Cracker Barrel literally anywhere else I’ve had much better. Not worth the price tag at all.

Food is good, a little over prices i purchased a three-piece meal chicken wings are( very small ), (one size)medium drink, and small beans that totaled almost 20 bucks food was good but 20 bucks to portion size…. Food was good but for the price it wasnt that good
