10⭐ chicken sandwich OMG DELICIOUS. I went sorta late Sunday 3/10 and got the best chicken sandwich and potato wedges. Super hot and freshly made for me. I have to say it's a fabulous chicken sandwich. The staff is nice the place was clean and I will be back for that delicious chicken sandwich.

No seasoning at all on the corn or string beans. No seasoning in the chicken, horrible with no seasoning. Customer service was good place was clean, they are not your regular golden skillet, no collards or any home cooked food at all

Got the taste of this chicken in the 1970s in West Point, VA., and enjoyed it ever since. I'm so glad there is one place left to get another chance to have their great tasting chicken. There is a need for MORE locations! It is too good to be offered limitedly.

First rule about Sandston Golden Skillet is you DON'T TALK about Sandston Golden Skillet. This review could get me in a lot of troubke. It's too good and no one else needs to know about it!Seriously though, if you love chicken but hate gizzards, try the damn gizzards. No where else in the world prepares them they way they do. They come out crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside (not tough, chewy or gristly like anywhere else, yeck!). They are more like dark meat nuggets than gizzards. I don't dare touch gizzards from anywhere else.The inside is kind of small, as you would expect from a place whose food speaks for itself. So call ahead for your order, the line inside could be a bit long and calling ahead can save you a bit of time.Now I gotta get the hell out of here for opening my big mouth before Tyler Durdan catches up to me.

I've eaten from the store in Danville and found the chicken excellent.This is not that store. The chicken was merely average. Nothing to get excited about.
Great food and always busy. I love the gizzards and also the livers. Dinner boxes are a good value.Chicken nuggets are better than others. My kids love them.

Went to for Chicken ? Livers my favorite food item. Livers cooked well had EZ service to pay and pick up. Had no issues of any kind. Parking lot was OK and place was clean to eat. I remember when there was Golden Skillet in Stafford, VA back in the '70s when I was a boy, now it's Chinese place. Wish there were more restaurants around with this specialty.
