Amazing food. Gigantic portions. Fantastic service, with very kind and polite staff. There was vegetarian options and my eastern omelette was enough for my breakfast and lunch. My husband had the Rudys Breakfast and he really enjoyed. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Me and my husband had a great meal there tonight he had a side salad and the fried oysters with coleslaw, hush puppies and mashed potatoes. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich mashed potatoes green beans and we shared the banana pudding dessert. Everything was delicious and the staff friendly and courteous.
This is truly an American diner. We drove down the mountain from Shenandoah NP to eat somewhere other than the lodge, and we found Rudy's. The staff were very friendly, the menu was classic, and the decor was firehouse inspired. Prices were very reasonable.
