What looks like a vacant building on the water’s edge is not. It is filled with oysters. Bushels and boxes of them available at wholesale prices - CASH ONLY.There are gorgeous ones for shucking and others for roasting on an open fire. Just clean them off first with cold water when you get home.My guy and I brought home a box and dove right in. Bring cash $20 a box feeds 4 people, before noon and grab wholesale priced oysters in the winter and crabs/ peelers in the spring and summer. Small factory set up you can see the boats unload and the catch go into your box from the most incredible views arround. Picturesque quaint little town in the low country back woods, 10 min from Smithfield.
