Had Mother's Day brunch. Food was decent, disappointed they ran out of prime rib by 2:00 PM. Shrimp dish was mainly a crab cake. Menu didn't say chicken dish was deep fried which was disappointing. Service was very slow. Would not go back.
Before COVID invaded our world, my wife and I routinely stayed at the Smithfield Inn for New Years Eve. The Wharf Hill Brewing Company, just down the street puts on a PIG drop countdown for New Years that is attended by several of the residents and those of us who discovered it years ago. The Wharf Hill Restaurant super good food as has the Smithfield Inn on past occasions. This year we returned for the first time since 2019 due in part to COVID and family health issues since...
The perfect place to stay. Everything is walkable, good restaurants and great shops. Great for Christmas shopping. I do it every year. The staff are so kind and friendly. The dining elegant and delicious.
