We seldom dine at Delias, but it was Valentines Day and the weather was better than for the past few weeks. I found the service to be quite good and the atmosphere was as it always is, not overly upscale, and not plastic, comfortable. I found some issues with the menu, particularly the pricing. During our most recent visit, we ordered Lomo Saltado, like we usually do. It took longer than usual to get but it was yummy. The tiramisu was weird, however. Besides being partially frozen, it had whipped cream amd chocolate syrup on it. We had never had it that way and certainly not frozen.
The waiter, who informed us that he was from Greece, provided us with the most exceptional service we have ever experienced at any establishment. His outstanding service included packing our food containers and even bringing us refills of our beverages to take with us. Before leaving his shift, we overheard him asking if there was anything else he could do for them. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were big.
