So you feel like eating a meatball and cheese sub. Well don't go to Giardino's after 3:00pm because that's a lunch item, not a "dinner" item. Although they do have meatballs on the dinner menu; they just can't separate them for a sub after 3:00! Customer service gets a 2.

Just ate here for the first time & it was amazing! Our waitress was very nice & had great recommendations for what to get, plus the food came out quickly.

We just had another office lunch at Giardino to celebrate the retirement of a colleague. The restaurant does a fabulous job of handling large parties. They made special menus and customized the set up perfectly for our needs. The servers are of the highest professional demeanor. They were in sync with the flow of our event, patient with our chaotic social mixing, and totally non-disruptive as they served and bussed around our crowd of 40+ people. And the food is so tasty! Everyone raved about the lasagna, chicken marsala, fettucine alfredo, cannoli, and the bread--YUM. All for a very fair price.

Popped in for take out. Sandwich and salad were well packed. Cannoli was delicious!

1st time dining here. Almost every table full on a Friday night, a good sign. Service was surprisingly quick and very attentive. Portion sizes are enormous, enough for two people per main dish. Tri-color gnocchi was fun; chicken parmesan solid; cannelloni good; pizzas were popular, although the crust softened too much while at the table. We look forward to returning in the future.

Went in a Thursday, seated right away. Service was attentive without rushing us and the food was amazing! Had appetizer, entree and dessert - everything was delicious, a step way above any chain restaurant. Generous portions - lunch tomorrow is set. So glad we gave this place a try, we'll be back.

Some of the best NY style pizza in Northern Virginia, and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Awesome spot in an unassuming supermarket strip location. Very reasonably priced menu for Northern Virginia. Mostly $15-$30 plates with $10 cocktails. My wife and I split a really solid meat pizza, but our daughter had the star of the evening -- a gnocchi plate. The meal had three sauces on the pasta, a bolognese, Alfredo, and a pesto. Can't beat this for a local date night spot. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food at a competitive price, plus great service. Ask the owner to tell you his story!

Service was attentive and professional (I sat at the bar). Pizza was good. Restaurant looks like an old Italian Pizzeria in the 50s.

We've been here several times and the last two experiences have not been great. Table service was mediocre as was the food. But the pizza was good. Not the best Italian food.
