We live in the neighborhood and used to love this place. I don’t know if there’s new management or a new chef, but the quality of the food has taken a dive poorly seasons over oily consistently bad the past four or five visits. Order taker is unenthusiastic in orders, always seem to take longer than the time promise. Hope management reads this review and makes some adjustments.

I wish I had better things to say about this place. This spot is located in the springfield plaza and I've been eyeing it for quite some time. I finally decided to try it out the other night. I placed an order through their website and ordered carry out. Once I arrived to the place, I was super confused. The store was closed, the lights were out, and there was nobody in the store. I was super disappointed and even tried calling the place but they didn't answer. I'm not sure whether they decided to just leave early during store hours or maybe there was an emergency? Regardless, a sign on the door would've been nice.

Pretty good food, will order from again. Do wish the dinner portions would be a bit larger seems like the lunch and dinner portions are the same.

I've been a customer of Hunan Express for many years. Since the change of owners, they no longer offer pork. Chinese food with no pork???? Do not recommend this restaurant. Sad.

Ordered the Singapore rice noodles and they exceeded my expectations. Item was priced right, portion was plentiful and flavor was amazing. Will definitely be ordering takeout from here again. Singapore rice noodles are my go-to dish, but looking forward to trying other things as well. The gentleman working was also very kind and professional.

I ordered Shrimp Chow Fun, Green Beans, Spring Rolls, & Hunan Chicken. My favorites and delicious dishes are Shrimp Chow Fun & Green Beans. Hunan Chicken is my Husband's taste with sour & spicy taste. Spring Rolls need to be improved a little bit in crispiness. Overall take out experience meets quality home-dining experience.

I was really hopeful but my general tso's chicken was so bad. Thin bland sauce with not crispy chicken. My "fried" rice looked like some hard rice with soy sauce added and that's it. The chicken wings were fine and my boyfriends beef and broccoli was actually good. It looked really good overall but lacked much flavor.
A place that really cares about the customer a mistake was made and not only did they rectify it, but they also compensated me, 10/10 I'd eat here again

Tried this placed when my dinner plans got cancelled. The food was just not something to write home about. We ordered noodles, beef fried rice and broccoli and chicken. The noodles were ok. The beef fried rice left me questioning what type of meat they actually use, to be honest I was too scared to try it. The chicken was a little tough to chew. We also ordered some wontons. They were filled with pork, they were ok. I wouldn't order from there again.
