We take out our food and found out an item is missing and over priced.

I went here with high hopes but was disappointed ☹️:
1. They close rather early for dinner (6pm, although they open at 8am).
2. Nothing was labeled, which makes it challenging for folks less familiar with Filipino food to figure out what to order. I had to ask the employees what each item was, which they seemed annoyed by. But I was there trying to give them my money to try their food while trying to be polite!
3. They stack disposable to-go containers in a way that blocks their signs that display prices per container and also adds another physical barrier between the customer and whoever is behind the counter, which makes it hard to order.
4. Once I finally picked out and got my food, I found it to be very mid, especially towards the end of the day, when the food has been sitting on warmers for hours.

I always stop to eat here whenever I go to Costco since it is located on Backlick Road. I read all the negative reviews that are fake or out of prejudice from people who have not tasted the food from here. I have been to this restaurant since it opens during COVID. It is the best Filipino food in Fairfax County. It is a reasonable price. If you go to Pinay Kitchen in Woodbridge, you will find terrible food at $14 for the same sweet sausage, eggs, and rice for $10 here at Kamayan. It is mom and pop owner, not McDonalds. I go and see that she is helping other customers. I wait patiently to get good food and service from a family run business with 3 workers.I lived in til I drove here to eat once in a while of as often as I can. I love port and sausages. Her fried eggs are better than my own cook fried eggs. I ask for soy or fish sauce, and she will give it to me.As a regular customer, I have not seen one ant or coachroach since the restaurant opened until today, 21 March 2024. And, I never get upset stomach here. I even bought pork and drove to my foster mother in Fredericksburg. She likes it and asked me where I got her lunch.

This is the best Filipinos restaurant in Northern Virginia. The owner put lots of effort into making a favor of food. You must try it and will come back for more.

We had a terrible experience at Kamayan Fiesta restaurant in Springfield, VA. Not only was the food subpar, but the owner's behavior was completely unprofessional. We asked why they need our address to complete a transaction when we're picking up the food. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns, the owner resorted to name-calling and sarcasm. It's clear the owner takes any feedback personally and make assumptions about customers rather than taking responsibility for their shortcomings. If you piss off the owner, she'll fight you back. Save yourself the headache and avoid this establishment at all costs. She’s not the only Filipino restaurant/store in the DMV. The other Filipino restaurants/stores like Manila Oriental and Kababayan to name a few will treat you far better than her.
The food is amazing!
The food is authentic Pinoy and they offer various delicious dishes from different parts of the Philippines. They always have the staple pancit and they are generous with their rice. I come here a couple of times a week and have taken my friends who now love the place too. Thank you for bringing home to me.

Foods are cooked with pride. It really feels like you are in the Philippines eating your favorite food. I will visit again when I am back in the DC area.

I got some GI discomfort after ordering porridge and monggo.
This is a small carry out with some tables to eat; where the food is delicious, and not oily (like some other places in the area). service is great
