A nice and local Ethiopian restaurant...ordered the doro wot with lentils and it was neatly individually portioned. The injera was amazing. A great place to stop if you are looking for Ethiopian in the Burke/ Springfield area. Give Mena's a try!

I just appreciate the delivery was exactly as I requested. This was sent to my dad on Father's Day and he was recovering from the vid so he thoroughly enjoyed his meal (still had his taste)!

Very very small portions and zero meat on the chicken meals. I ordered the "Chicken Doro Wot" and the "Chicken Doro Alicha" meals. What I received was greasy sauce and an egg for one dish and greasy sauce, a chicken bone, and an egg in the other dish. When I called to complain there was no meat in either dish the lady on the phone kept arguing with me that she prepared the "sauce and bone" herself and did not comprehend the fact you cannot advertise a meal as having chicken if it is just sauce and a bone. She also hung up on me! How cheap can you get? I try to support local businesses but their cheapness and stinginess compelled me to write this review warning others of their shady business practices. I have attached a photo of what I received versus a photo of how they advertise the dish on their menu. I got burned. For decent Ethiopian food I guess I will have to make the drive to Alexandria next time because this place is triflin and shady!

The Ethiopian lady in here was very nice. They also give you a lot of yummy food for the price. It has a nice sit down and outdoor eating area. It is like a deli so you can order food and sit there and you don't have to tip which is nice, but its appreciated if so. You get a lot of food for the money and the food is authentic. This is why we will always be back here frequently!

Bought fresh injera today, they had both the dark and light kind ($6/10 pieces) as well as frozen injera from Ethiopia. Very friendly young woman helped me. Have not eaten here. They need to post their hours, none on the door. Was told they are 9am to 10pm.

I had no idea this pickery was here. What are the first time the other day after living in the area for over 10 years. The bakery is very clean hand the owner is extremely nice. You can tell that they really want you to be happy with the service product. I really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back!

Injera is fresh and delicious so I decided to order carry out. I ordered beef tibs and the lady said it would be ready 25 mins. When my husband arrived to pick up she told him they didn't have any beef tibbs. Wow. I will continue to shop here for injera only and i will buy good authentic ethio/eri food from Merkato instead.
