First time here and first time trying Honduran food (I eat Salvadoran food a lot but hadn’t had food from Honduras). It was delicious! You order at the counter and pick a seat for them to prepare it fresh and bring it to you. I got the 4 catrachas with beef (fried corn tortillas with refried beans and ground beef and Honduran cheese) and my husband got carne asada, and both were delicious. The cafe is spacious and laid back, very clean as well, plenty of tables to eat alone...
At the Springfield Restaurant- For our 2024 Thanksgiving dinner we ordered gallina rellena (stuffed hen), rice and Russian salad. All was delicious and at an excellent price. Previous years we have ordered stuffed turkey, which they stuff with more meat, veggies and potatoes. For our anniversaries and birthday parties we've ordered delicious vegetarian dishes (coliflor en huevo, chayote relleno) and delicious salads.
