I have visited the Mixing Bowl many times in my younger years to see many local bands. Because of Covid-19 , i find myself stopping in for a happy hour drimk more often now because their strict enforcement of Covid-19. Your temperature will be taken prior to service and if you don't wear a mask walking within the establishment their customers will bark at you. A safe place to go during these challenging times for restaurants. Stop by for a burger on Monday's and their burgers are reduced price and delicious..

My wife and I went to The Mixing Bowl on a Monday night. We were greeted by a person who seemed to be the manager, and he was very friendly. At the table, my wife had a cocktail and I had a beer. We also ordered the fried oysters appetizer. My wife's cocktail was poured tableside, which I liked. The fried oysters were wonderful. They were very delicately breaded, and lightly cooked. For dinner, my wife had the London broil and she loved it. She said it was medium in the middle, with a nice crispy edge.

Worst steak I ever had in my life. It was hard to chew and full of fat. The cobbler desert was doughy . And to top it off we ordered a take out of chicken wings. We were ripped off as the box when we got home only had half the number of wings we were supposed to get!!! So if you like lousy, this is the place to go. Hope your experience is better than ours.
