On Friday night, 8 coworkers met up for dinner. Service was attentive. I ordered the jambalaya with rice. It came out with a large amount of white rice which was not in portion to the seafood/sauce and I was disappointed that no other side such as bread/cornbread came with it. It was just ok and not too spicy and the rice was between nutty & mushy. I've eaten here several times and will do so again but didn't enjoy this dish.
We sat at the bar to save time, but that may have backfired on us. We waited to order, we waited for our appetizer which didn't show up. We waited for our food which finally arrived over 30 mins later. So by now we had been there about an hour and still no appetizer. When we asked for the check we saw the first sign of our appetizer and it was on the bill, not a plate. Kind of disappointing since every other YH we have eaten at really knocked it out of the park. Gave it four...
Popped in to meet up with some friends. Beer is always fresh and cold. We ordered some onion rings for the table but they weren’t fully cooked and were very doughy. I also ordered some cheese curds which were just as undercooked and doughy as the onion rings. My wife ordered the sliders from the appetizer menu and it is definitely enough for the whole meal. I ordered the double decker BLT which is almost impossible to mess up, and our guests both ordered the Malibu salmon salad....
