Food is decent (overall), taste-wise, but not texture-wise. Nearly all of it was SEVERELY overcooked. Tostones were beyond plentiful (aka enough for 4-5+ people) but ROCK HARD. Awful, like eating bricks. Truly horrible. Pork chop was also ROCK HARD. I had to SAW it w/the tiny knife they offered. My hands hurt cutting it; my hands hurt after eating here... The flavors are fine, but I won't be back. I paid for a 2-person meal and got a *1/2* portion of beans (for 2 people)....
We went for dinner around 5:00 on Thursday. The place was empty. Our server was polite. She did an excellent job serving. I ordered the oxtail and rice. I enjoyed it, it was good. I also order a side of plantains. That was over cooked, I did not finish it. But overall, that was my only complaint and I would go back again.
