“I visited this location a while back. I called ahead after a hike to ask if they were still serving breakfast since it was later in the day. Since it was a slower day, the chef said that if I showed up then he'd serve it.

The food was fantastic, the people were friendly, and I had a lovely view of the area while I ate. Excellent experience. I believe I had the french toast and ham and cheese omelette. 11/10“

“This was my second trip to the Lafayette Inn & Restaurant in Stanardsville. The first time was because I was roadtripping and ended up being so tired while on a roadtrip for work that I had to find a place to stay, and the second time was purposefully going out of my way to stay there again for two nights. I recommend this historic inn to everyone. The owners are welcoming. The place is so cozy and beautiful. I feel at home when I visit the Lafayette.“

“My wife and I stopped in for brunch New Year’s Day while out doing some antique hunting. I’d read about this place several years ago and was excited to try it out. I had the burger and my wife had the truffled eggs Benedict. My burger was cooked just the way I requested and was delicious. The parm fries were the perfect side. My wife enjoyed her eggs Benedict as well with the fried potatoes. Highly recommend their homemade hot sauce. It was really good on the burger! I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.“

“First time visiting today, my aunt was in from out of state and wanted to go here. This place did not disappoint. The venue itself is stunning inside and out. The food/dessert was delicious. I was DD today, however the other 4 women in my party LOVED all of the wine they tried. They had 3 bottles there and then purchased another to take home. I am mostly writing this review to highlight how amazing our server was, Edwin. He truly made our whole experience there a great one. He is the best server I have ever had, the other 4 in my group would second this. He was just a true delight. Anyone would be lucky to have him on their visit to Early Mountain Vineyard. We will be back!“
