After I ordered a bourbon barrel beer, the server came back and said they had just run out of that, but they did have a Black Butte Porter. The bar tender then came over and said they didn't have that either, so I said can I have my beer for free and the bar tender said no but the did have Guinness and did I want that. I said no and was going to look at the menu, but she walked away.
At the end of the meal (6 people), I paid the full tab but left no tip. As we were leaving, the waitress asked one of the other members of our party why we had not left a tip. Before I could intervene, he pulled out his wallet and gave her some cash. I stepped between them, and she asked if it was because of the beer situation. I said yes and told her to keep the tip, but if she had asked me, I would have told her to get the tip from the bar tender. She said she was sorry and I said I was (sarcastically) sorry also.
Any other time I've had this happen, the restaurant had offered my beer for free, and I've always added the cost of the beer to the server's tip. Hopefully, they'll change their "lack of beer" policy.

Eating here is a wonderful experience. The food is amazing and the staff are so nice and helpful. Definitely eat here, my new go to place! Love it

Always stop here to eat on the way to snowshoe. Great place and great little town to walk around in
I drove in from Charlottesville for trip to Stanton. Had my 10 year old Pomeranian and looked for outdoor seating. Went to Bestro and outdoors not yet open. They were so helpful and accommodating. I order to go and got to sit outside. I was able to order a glass of wine with my lunch. And they brought everything to me, including water for my dog. They food was very good. But I must say the personal were exceptional. Thank you.
