I wished I had taken pictures of my food. Jessica our server recommended the fried mushrooms. Get them!!! They were fantastic. You will not leave hungry. Portions are huge, atmosphere was great and Jessica was great!!! Glad we stopped before our next door train ride.
Whenever we visit the area, this is our goto dinner spot. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. May not be back in area again for years, just hope this place is still going strong when we do!

I did not know there was a DPO in Staunton! We have always loved the one in Lynchburg and thought it would be a nice lunch while we were in town. I got the Smothered Chicken, my wife got a Steak. Both were so juicy and flavorful and cooked to perfection (the second time). With only the one hiccup of wrongly prepared meat, the cook, our server, and the manager immediately fixed it and offered us some compensation.
