This place was a EXCELLENT find. This truly is just like Momma used to make. The chicken is fresh and tender, the greens are amazing and the Mac n cheese was soul pleasing. Many more visits in the future for me.
This is where you take someone that is into food. This is what you want someone that cares for you to cook for you. They had some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever eaten. It was creamy and not too wet, they had an excellent choice of cheeses that complimented each other. The fried white fish was moist and tender on the inside and corn meal crispy on the outside. The deep fried pork chop was seasoned perfectly. This is an eat in your car type of place, so maybe...
Just ate there today and the food was amazing. Charlotte is such a friendly person and she certainly knows how to cook. The Mac and cheese was delicious, some of the best I’ve eaten. When I’m back in Staunton I’ll certainly make time to eat there again
