Our first time visiting the depot grille. We loved it. Food was spot on and my wife could not even eat all her meal. We arrived soon as it opened and the staff was smiling and greeted soon as we arrived. We got seated right away we loved the decor. It reminds us of our area in pa of Jim Thorpe. Have eaten in the past and found out to be ok. Attempted a family birthday dinner last weekend. arrived at 630pm. sat for a bit then ordered (ask for all menus as there is a secondary specials menu). Throughout the next 45 minutes the waiter came to our table on at least 3 occasions advising that some component of our meals were unavailable. Traveling to Virginia Beach, we stopped for lunch. Disappointed in our experience. I was excited for Sunday brunch. But was informed they were out of Sunday brunch potatoes. There was not a good substitute. I ordered chicken tenders and baked potato. Both were average at best. good but nothing special. Grandson had fruit and waffle. Waffle was ok. He said kinda crunchy.
