It’s a fun place to stop. A small business that operates out of the back of a residence. The pastries are out of this world - good! A real treat for your taste buds. You can tell he uses only the best ingredients and a time consuming attention to detail. Love it.

The owner is the cutest. We found this place on google and it was the best little stop. The sweetest owner and she was right it was the best cannolis 🥰😍

We met the Baker, and his wife. Had a nice conversation. Blown away by the old world atmosphere. Prices are well worth the quality. Farm fresh eggs, real ingredients with no additives, TRUE FOOD. Only wish I had tried them earlier.

Giancarlo's is a wonderful little bakery in a neighborhood off of Beverley. He makes so many wonderful baked goods. Everything is made with a level of detail that goes way beyond your typical bakery. He puts a lot of thought into everything he makes and it really shows. He makes an incredible gluten-free cake. We got one for a birthday and it was incredible. White sponge cake, pistachio cream between layers, and ganache over all. Just incredible. And so many tarts in the selection and cookies and canolis.

A nice couple runs this little shop out of the back of their home. It was a pleasant surprise, and I highly recommend checking it out for European pastries either not generally available around here or not done as well!

10 out of 10 the best pastries!!! Came across this business on FB a few days before a field trip to Staunton, VA for my daughter. Field trip day was Thursday and Giancarlo is only open for retail hours on Friday’s and Saturday’s. I was so bummed, but I sent a message to see if they would let me make a special order for Thursday pick up, and they did!!! We ordered three tarts. A chocolate raspberry, a chocolate espresso and a lemon. AMAZING!!! Giancarlo uses the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted! And the lemon was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. This bakery is a MUST visit!

Someone would be lying if they ever gave this place less than 5/5 stars for a review. The pastries really are made with love and the owners there are full of love as well. It really feels like you’re visiting your nonna’s house when you come here. Cannot recommend enough.

I came in here today for the first time, I’m very happy to have found a bakery around here that makes Italian/europeron pastries. To be more specific they make bread, croissants, cake, muffins and more. I got sfogliatelle which were delicious and filled perfectly. I got an eclair, cannoli and the baked apricot vanilla custard.

Visiting for the weekend, and went to find Giancarlo's. He's the really-real deal! We left with quite a few pastries! Take the time to hunt down this treasure. He and his wife are charming as well. 5+ stars absolutely!

Large variety of pastries - I tend to want some of everything, especially anything with the chocolate genache. Also baked breads. Take-out only.
