We just found this little pastry shop and it is heaven! It's definitely worth checking out if you are in Staunton. The owners are fabulous and their pastries are delicious.

Giancarlo's is one of Staunton's best hidden gems. He is a true artist and everything he makes is absolutely delicious. Add to that it's a small family owned business so you always get prompt friendly service! I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you're considering trying them, just do it...you definitely won't regret it!

Saw this bakery posted on a Staunton FB page and thought we’d check it out and boy glad we did!!! Nestled in a neighborhood, they have turned their garage into a commercial kitchen. We bought several desserts all reasonably priced. Will be back nextTime we are in town!!!

This hole in the wall shop is a must visit. It is run by the friendliest family who make everything for the weekend and when they sell out, that's it. While we were there, everyone who came in was greeted, so the owners seem to be very well known in the area. We left with a key lime cheesecake, sfogliatelle, apple strudel, chocolate raspberry frangipane and espresso brownie caramel pecan. They were all amazing. The favorites of the bunch were the key lime cheesecake and the espresso brownie caramel pecan.

I'll be visiting "Pastry Lane" again and again! Ordered a birthday cake - astonishingly good European-style - each layer light and delicious and the cake was beautifully decorated. Also had a great little lemon tart - beautifully light and fresh. Wonderful to have this level of pastry here in Staunton. Can't post a photo because nothing was left :)
I found this bakery one Saturday morning. It is in an unlikely family neighborhood. Love everything from pastry to bread. The couple that run it are so very sweet and helpful. One of our go to places for a treat.

Absolutely divine looking cakes and an assortment of baked goods and other treats that I bought from them. You'd have thought I went to Italy. I got my mothers some for mother's day and I have not heard the end of it (they want more). How I managed to keep my hands out of the box I will never know but next time I go it will be for myself.
