We went for lunch today and it was terrific. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated immediately. Our waitress; Allison was exceptional. The Fall decorations were tasteful, well organized and made the restaurant a warm and pleasant place to eat. The buffet was clean, well stocked and all our food was the right temperature and delicious. We will certainly return.
WOW. Came from New Jersey where there is no cheap food or a thing called sweet tea.. but here in Virginia at this restaurant... the sweet tea is delicious. The food is spectacular. The buffet was only $10. The fried catfish was SPECTACULAR. The cabbage, green beans and salad bar was top notch. If you don't want the buffet they have a menu to order from as well. The ONLY thing I recommend is writing what is what on the buffet glass.. I got the corn and it turned out to be...
We have been craving a home cooked outing for a very long time. We use to do Country Cookin but they closed down a few years back. We figured we’d give it a shot and we are so happy that we did. This place surpassed our expectations! Amazing food, amazing staff, and the kids, my husband, and I are so full of delicious food that we couldn’t wait to tell someone about it. ♥
