Love love love love this place! I am so excited my parents found this place. I am a red wine fan, but this place has white wines that cannot be beat. I HIGHLY recommend for people who think they don't like white wines. The white ox and the Riesling were soooo good and the port -- I am usually not a port fan either -- but they do it right! It is a VERY small tasting room with a small sitting area, but if you are able to sit, the atmosphere is great and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend. My dad has bought multiple cases!! Check them out

We were in town so we stopped by yesterday and had a lovely tasting for a very inexpensive price tag. The location was great and historic and the sparkling was EXCELLENT. So excellent we had to bring a bottle home- stands up to some of the best sparklings I've had lately. A hidden gem not to be missed if you are in Staunton

Why isn't this place packed?? I was visiting here while in town for a wedding and happened to stop by. I've had wine all over. I've been in the industry. Their wine is excellent, extremely affordable, and they are super friendly. The only thing I can be critical of is their tasting menu pours are small but that's priced in. You should definitely stop by if you're in the area

Ox-Eye makes excellent whites and reds. I am partial to the Cabetnet Franc, which is medium bodied, structured, and complex. The tastings are interesting, generous, and well-curated. A thoroughly wonderful experience.

Cute environment. Tasting is $10 for 3 whites and 4 reds (or maybe it’s flipped). Every wine we tried was delicious. The women that ran the tasting for us was very informative and nice. Have definitely found a few new favorite wines from here.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at a restaurant in Chester VA and shared a glass of wine (ox eye cab franc) and before tasting I smelled it and it smelled EXACTLY like my great grandparents home. I did more research and come to find your winery is located in their hometown. They passed when I was about 6 and that glass of wine brought back so many nostalgic memories and good emotions. I can’t wait to visit your winery soon!!
