I was visiting family last weekend. We ordered takeout out. Got 3 pizzas a Caprese sandwich and the Tuscano soup. There are not enough descriptive words to say how good this food was. No one should live or visit Staunton and not eat here.
Traveling through the area and stopped to try this gem - even more lovely than we expected. Fast and friendly staff. Julie gave us her recommendations and everything came out hot and fresh. The peppadew had a great sweet but slightly hot flavor on the pizza - unique and tasty! Cool overall vibe and atmosphere. Another server heard we were from Indiana and asked about Holiday World so we had a fun conversation about that too - very personable and made us feel like the world was...
WOW!!! The Spicy Soppressata Salami & Hot Honey as well as the Pepperoni Peppadew pizzas were among the very best pizzas we have ever eaten (and we have eaten alot...). Great service. Dog friendly on the patio out back. Great old timey interior. Do not miss this jewel when you are in town.
