Stopped here on our drive back to Connecticut. Nicest people, great food, amazing service and super clean! The two ladies working we're the sweetest ladies and made our meal even more enjoyable! Gotta love Virginia and the Waffle House!
I ordered the All-American meal so I could taste most of what the restaurant offered, as it was my first time visiting a Waffle House. The food was good overall: well- cooked with simple preparation as expected. I ordered the blueberry waffle instead of the plain one and was disappointed to find that there were no blueberries, but rather a blue- colored blueberry- flavored additive. It tasted OK, but wasn't what I was expecting. The menus don't give descriptions, so...
Waitress wasn't very good. Had to remind her to bring the waffle I ordered, and still never brought it. Never came to check on us and see of we needed anything after getting the food. Table beside us got 2 waffles, still never received mine. Had to have it removed from bill.
